Colleges: Training a highly-skilled workforce

Toronto Region colleges and institutes of technology provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today's high-tech workplace.  In its 2008 budget, the government of Ontario identified $75 million over three years to expand apprenticeship, $45 million over three years for state-of-the-art equipment for apprenticeship, $60 million over three years for equipment renewal, and new funding for capital improvements.
